There are four main materials of gabion cage
(1) Galvanized steel wire: low carbon steel wire, the diameter of steel wire is 2.0 mm-4.0 mm, the tensile strength of steel wire is 350-550 MPA / mm2, the surface of steel wire is protected by hot galvanizing, the thickness of galvanized protective layer is made according to customer requirements, and the amount of galvanizing can reach 350 g / m2.
(2) Zinc 5% aluminum mixed Tu alloy steel wire: (also called Galfan) steel wire, which is a new international material in recent years, its corrosion resistance is more than three times of traditional pure zinc plating, its diameter can reach 2.0 mm-4.0 mm, and its tensile strength is 350-550 MPA / mm2.
(3) Galvanized steel wire plastic coating: low carbon steel wire, in the steel wire surface wrapped with a layer of PVC or PE protective layer, and then woven into various specifications of gabion net. This layer of protective layer will greatly increase the protection in high pollution environment, and through the selection of different colors.
(4) Zinc – 5% aluminum – mixed alloy steel wire: the surface of zinc – 5% aluminum – mixed alloy steel wire is covered with a layer of PVC or PE protective layer, and then woven into various specifications of gabion cage. This layer of protective layer will greatly increase the protection in high pollution environment, and through the selection of different colors.
The gabion net box is assembled by gabion net pieces of various mesh specifications according to ASTM a975-97 specification. The gabion net box is divided into several cells by a partition board (double stranded hexagonal metal mesh) with an interval of 1 meter. In order to strengthen the strength of the gabion net box structure, the side ends of all mesh plates are made of steel wire with a thicker diameter.
